Pacific Health Wayfinders is a recruitment initiative targeting Pacific secondary school students who want to pursue a career in medical and health sciences.

Pacific Health Wayfinders was established in 2021 to respond to the growing need for Pacific-led pathways into health careers. Rooted in the values of community, respect, and collective progress, Pacific Health Wayfinders supports Pacific students as they navigate their journey into the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.

Guided by the leadership of Professor Sir Collin Tukuitonga and aligned with Vision 20:20, Pacific Health Wayfinders works to strengthen the Pacific health workforce as well as ensure Pacific voices, knowledge and perspectives shape the future of health in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
