Coastal processes research
Our research explores the formation and change of coastal landforms and nearshore environments, including hydrodynamic modelling.

We also examine the dynamics of coastal systems from event to centennial timescales and identify the primary drivers of coastal change.
Research topics
- Hydrodynamic modelling
- Wave processes and nearshore currents
- Nearshore sediment transport
- Sedimentation processes
- Coastal morphodynamics
- Sea level rise
- Evolution of coastal landforms
- Coastal hazards
