Orientation
Transnational Education science students get to participate in the University-wide orientation and dedicated TNE orientation events.
We will be welcoming new students from Transnational Education (TNE) programmes in Semester Two (July) 2026.
TNE Science students are invited to participate in the University-wide orientation for International, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, as well as a dedicated TNE orientation event designed to support your transition to the University of Auckland.
Orientation helps new students become familiar with the University campus, support services, and academic processes. It also introduces you to life in Auckland, including information about the city, local services, and places to explore.
As part of orientation, students will take part in a formal traditional Māori welcome, recognising and welcoming you into the University community.
Students will receive information prior to arrival about moving to New Zealand and starting life in Auckland. They are required to arrive at least one week before classes start to participate in orientation and welcome activities.
Please ensure you apply for student visa well in advance to allow sufficient time for processing. If you have any questions, our friendly support team is here to help. You can contact us via WeChat: Science_UoA or click the button below.
