Academic positions

Clinical Academic Neonatologist

The Liggins Institute at the University of Auckland is seeking a full-time clinical academic neonatologist at Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor level to contribute to its leading research and postgraduate training in perinatal, neonatal and child health. The position includes up to 0.5 FTE clinical duties as a specialist neonatologist at Starship Children’s Hospital, working with the neonatal team in the country’s quarternary neonatal unit. It also includes a 0.1 FTE cross-appointment to the Department of Paediatrics: Child and Youth Health in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences with responsibility for contributing to undergraduate teaching in the medical programme.

Post-Doctoral Fellows / Research Fellows

The Liggins Institute, an internationally-renowned research institute of the University of Auckland, is seeking expressions of interest from mid-career researchers (3-8 years post PhD) interested in joining the Institute’s research groups in the areas of maternal, infant and child health. Applicants should have a relevant qualification and research experience, which could be in any relevant clinical specialty or health profession, psychology, behavioural science or basic science.
