Exploring international stakeholders’ perspective on the roles of the natural health products (NHPs) industry in pharmacovigilance

This study invites international key regulatory and industry stakeholders involved in pharmacovigilance for NHPs to complete a survey exploring their views on the industry’s contributions to the safety monitoring of NHPs.

What's involved?

Participation involves completing a survey online anonymously. The survey asks questions about your professional experience with pharmacovigilance for NHPs, views on regulations for NHPs, and methods for monitoring the safety of NHPs. The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete.

Eligibility criteria

To be able to participate in this study, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Have the ability to give informed consent to participate. 
  • You are currently employed as one or more of the following: 
    • An industry professional affiliated with a national, regional, or global industry association of NHPs, complementary medicines, dietary supplements, or food supplements 
    • An industry professional providing pharmacovigilance services, including consultancy, specifically related to NHPs 
    • A regulator/competent authority regulating NHPs, complementary medicines, dietary supplements, food supplements, and/or medicines 
    • A pharmacovigilance professional working at a national/regional pharmacovigilance centre. 
  • You are based in one of the following countries: 
    • Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Ireland, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA. 

Please note that this is an international study with professionals. We are NOT recruiting consumers of NHPs and other stakeholders from New Zealand.
