Green Computing Hub

To foster collaboration and support the exchange of ideas and solutions on sustainable computing, we have established an international green computing hub.

In recent years, the energy consumption that is needed for computing processes has become an increasing concern. The computing industry is a major contributor to energy consumption, with the provision of everyday services such as e-mails, search engines, smart devices, and many more requiring data centers that consume vast amounts of electricity. This issue is further exacerbated by the increasing demand for technology and intelligent applications, leading to an urgent need for more efficient and sustainable computing practices. As a result, green computing has emerged as a recognized field of study within the research community.

We believe that creating a collaborative and interdisciplinary research platform is key to developing energy-efficient software that can help reduce the impact of the computing industry on the environment. Therefore, at our school, we are committed to building an international research hub that brings together experts from diverse fields to work together toward sustainable solutions for computing.

By establishing a platform and encouraging green computing research, we as a research community can tackle today’s challenges together and create a better tomorrow for ourselves and future generations. If you are interested in this project and would like to connect, feel free to send an e-mail!
