Following the withdrawal of funding by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for Commonwealth Scholars from developed countries, in 1998 the University of Auckland agreed to provide funding for one new Scholarship per year for candidates from Canada and the United Kingdom. It is expected that this arrangement will be reciprocal.

These Regulations are to be read in conjunction with the Universities New Zealand “Rules and Regulations for Scholars from Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom”.

How to apply

You do not need to apply for this Scholarship or complete an online application form, it is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant Faculty or University of Auckland Committee.
