A $5,000 Award to support a full-time Part IV BE(Hons) student specialising in Chemical and Materials Engineering or a $10,000 Award to a graduate of a BE(Hons) in Chemical and Materials Engineering now enrolling in an MBA.

The Award was established in 2008 by Todd Mataga’s parents and brothers as a memorial to their son and sibling, a graduate of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering. The Award is also an acknowledgement of the importance of the Auckland University Engineers Association (AUEA) to the Faculty of Engineering.
